My mother Donna R. Johnson worked with the Tualatin Valley Gleaners to create a forgaing guide to help individuals obtain healthy nutrition from nature. In honor of her hard work and dedication to the Farm2Forest program, I wanted to share a couple of pages from her book with you. I hope you enjoy. If you are interested in purchasing the book or e-book, this is the link.

Tualatin Valley Gleaners has been a lifesaver for me. I'm a weekly volunteer and having somewhere to go each week is a great feeling. Good healthy food is offered at Gleaners, which I probably wouldn't otherwise buy at the store, as it is more expensive than other foods. Gleaners has been a Godsend, as it gives me a f...Read Full Post »
